FREELANCE Functional / Business Analyst (Mid-Level) PIVA ONLY Location: Milan, Italy – Hybrid (Preferred: Milan or Lombardy) Industry: IT Consulting | Energy & Utilities | Banking & Financial Services We’re looking for a Freelance Functional / Business Analyst (Mid-Level) with at least 4 years of experience in Agile environments , ideally within the IT consulting , energy & utilities , or financial services sectors. This position plays a key role in supporting our business partners as they evolve to meet the personalized expectations of today’s digital customers. What will make you successful Professional English proficiency (C1 or strong B2 level). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Genuine passion for digital innovation and emerging technologies. Natural curiosity and a problem-solving mindset . Strong strategic and analytical thinking abilities. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL (intermediate queries) and MySQL . Solid background in requirements gathering , functional analysis , testing , documentation , and process improvement . Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and experience collaborating within Agile software development teams. Familiarity with Agile tools such as Rally, Jira, or TFS .
