Among the European leaders in Wealth Management solutions, Prometeia is looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the development, deployment, and management of Kubernetes-based applications. ROLE: As Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for CI/CD pipelines, with high focus on quality, security, and build/deployment processes (build tools, Docker, Kubernetes), plus optional Cloud/IaC expertise. RESPONSIBILITIES : - CI/CD & Automation – Top Priority • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps. • Automate build, test, quality, and security checks. • Manage artifact creation and distribution (Nexus, npm, nuget). • Ensure pipeline scalability, reliability, and security. - Quality, Build & Security – High Priority • Integrate SonarQube, Checkmarx, OWASP into pipelines. • Apply DevSecOps practices across build and release processes. • Strong knowledge of build tools: Maven/Gradle, MSBuild/.NET, npm/Yarn, Python/poetry. • Build and maintain Docker images via Dockerfiles, manage CVEs, and ensure regular rebuilds for security compliance. • Deploy applications via Helm Charts on Kubernetes. - Containerization & Kubernetes (User-level) – Medium Priority • Troubleshoot Kubernetes deployments and workloads. • Support Dev and Ops teams in container orchestration. - Monitoring & Reliability • Implement Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK for observability and alerting. • Monitor applications and infrastructure health. - Leadership & Collaboration • Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices. • Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Ops teams. • Drive continuous improvement in delivery workflows. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. - 3 years in DevOps, CI/CD, or Cloud Engineering roles. - Proven expertise in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). - Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python, YAML). - Experience with Git, GitHub, GitFlow version control. - Hands-on experience with build tools, Docker (including CVE management & rebuild), Kubernetes deployments. - Familiarity with quality & security tools (SonarQube, Checkmarx, OWASP). Preferred / Nice-to-Have - Cloud & IaC: Azure, Terraform, Ansible, Bicep. - Production-level coding in Python or C#. - Relevant certifications (ISTQB, DevOps-related).
