JoinJWVenice WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Our marvelous resort, JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa is seeking a passionate, bright and talented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards. Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries. Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update the status of departing guest rooms. Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities, training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, disciplining, and motivating employees. Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments. Communicate issues to the next shift. Complete the required paperwork. Read and verify the information. Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Ispezionare le camere degli ospiti, le aree pubbliche, la piscina, ecc. dopo la pulizia da parte della governante per garantire gli standard di qualità. Segnalare eventuali problemi di manutenzione, pericoli per la sicurezza, incidenti o infortuni. Eseguire i rapporti sulle camere vendute, verificare lo stato delle camere, determinare le camere non conformi, stabilire le priorità di pulizia delle camere e aggiornare lo stato delle camere degli ospiti in partenza. Assistere la direzione delle pulizie nella gestione delle attività quotidiane, nella formazione, nella programmazione, nella valutazione, nella consulenza, nella disciplina e nella motivazione dei dipendenti. Preparare, distribuire e comunicare le modifiche alle assegnazioni delle camere. Comunicare i problemi al turno successivo. Completare i documenti richiesti. Leggere e verificare le informazioni. Agire come collegamento per coordinare gli sforzi di Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office e Laundry. Parlare con gli altri utilizzando un linguaggio chiaro e professionale. Sviluppare e mantenere relazioni di lavoro positive con gli altri; ascoltare e rispondere in modo appropriato alle preoccupazioni degli altri dipendenti. Documentare e risolvere i problemi relativi alle camere discordanti con il Front Desk. Accogliere e riconoscere tutti gli ospiti secondo gli standard aziendali; anticipare e soddisfare le esigenze di servizio degli ospiti; assistere le persone con disabilità; ringraziare gli ospiti con autentico apprezzamento.
