Construction Project Manager – Concrete Supply For an important international project in the construction sector, I am looking for a Project Manager with solid experience in the production and supply of concrete in the plant engineering field. Place of work: Palma, Mozambique Duration of assignment: June 2024 to May 2027 Shift pattern: 60 days on / 15 days off Working days: 26 days per month (Sundays off) Accommodation and meals: provided by the client at the project site Purpose of the role: The candidate will be responsible for supervising concrete production in accordance with contractual terms and technical specifications, ensuring the smooth progress of the project from an operational, economic, and quality perspective. Main responsibilities: Supervision of all project phases, including HSE, contract management, inspections, and quality control Cost management and monitoring of work progress in accordance with the schedule Coordination of plant start-up and concrete production activities Liaison with regulatory authorities Management of resources and the project team Required skills: Ability to work independently and organize resources Strong leadership and personnel management skills Excellent problem-solving skills Knowledge and use of the main IT tools Excellent knowledge of English Professional use of MS Office Requirements and qualifications: At least 15 years of proven experience as a Construction Project Manager in concrete production and supply Experience in managing complex projects with a contract value between €80 million and €100 million Expertise in technical and quality documentation management Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions relating to concrete supply Technical diploma and/or degree in Engineering
