Computational Linguist

Compensation: USD 2500/month (full-time engagement) Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8 hours/day (remote) We are seeking a highly skilled Italian Linguistic Specialist with mandatory NLP experience to join our team on a full-time remote basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in linguistic data annotation, grammar/NLG tasks, phonetics, and/or prior involvement in ASR, TTS, or NLU projects. Key Responsibilities * Perform high-quality linguistic annotation for Italian language datasets * Execute grammar correction, natural language generation (NLG), and other linguistic analysis tasks * Conduct phonetic transcription, review, and evaluation * Support ASR/TTS/NLU development with linguistic insights and data labeling * Maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project guidelines * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance language model performance Required Skills & Qualifications *Mandatory hands-on experience in NLP (Natural Language Processing) * Italian language proficiency * Prior experience with linguistic annotation or language-focused AI projects * Familiarity with phonetics, NLG, ASR/TTS/NLU workflows * Strong command of Italian grammar, syntax, and linguistic structure * Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities * Ability to work independently in a remote, full-time setup
