Junior Project Manager

Emeren's Italy team is looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our team in Milan, working together with Senior members of the team in order to support Emeren’s rapidly growing solar and storage business and contribute to the transition to a low carbon, sustainable economy. Duties and Responsibilities Managing projects and interfacing with engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil and environmental), legal and financial teams and ensuring that pre-established delivery times are respected Managing project development up to RTB status, including site visits, risk assessment (technical and economical), vendors management, interaction with the permitting authorities; Managing development budget and manage costs; Reporting the advancement status of the project assigned in the pipeline; Managing relationships with external stakeholders, including development partners, public entities (state, regional and local), traders and landowners Supporting with preparation of proposals for clients such as due diligence, technical advisory, and other service offerings, and providing inputs for the Emeren internal approval process with the Investment Committee; Preparing and managing of specifications, tendering, negotiation and selection of Engineering, Procurement, Operation & Maintenance or EPC and other supply contracts; Attending internal and external meetings and represent Emeren in a suitable fashion according to the company code of conduct at all times. Qualifications: Master's Degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, et similar) Understanding of project development process for solar PV and/or BESS in Italy (including site control, securing interconnection, permitting process, etc.) Electrotechnical knowledge in the field of renewable energy infrastructures and BESS Good Project Management skills Excellent Time management skills and problem solving skills Knowledge of the electricity market in Italy is a plus, including but not limited to interaction with grid operators (TERNA and E-distribuzione), knowledge of the Italian regulation for permitting (AU, PAUR and PAS) Fluency in English & Italian Joining our team offers you an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where your contributions are valued.
