MECHANICAL DESIGNER

Main responsibilities: Design and release drawings for component, sub- assemblies and products Perform new drawings and modifications via 3D and 2D Cad Define tolerances and fittings, materials, surface finishes Provide support to colleagues in the creation of bills of materials Identify opportunities for product cost reduction with project definition, execution of technical documentation and economic evaluation Implement changes for quality improvement Provide support to the prototyping and experimental verification phase of a new product, carrying out all the necessary tests Skills and experience: Degree in Mechanical Engineering (three-year or master's degree) Experience gained in the position for at least 5 years in R&D, in companies with mass production (automotive, home appliances, professional appliances, ) Good knowledge of written and spoken English Excellent 3D CAD knowledge (preferably Solid Edge) Excellent knowledge of mechanical drawing and design Knowledge of structural and fluid dynamics simulation tools (nice to have) Life testing and product validation skills Good knowledge of the various technologies for manufacturing mechanical components/parts (sheet metal cutting and bending, sheet metal molding, plastic molding) Soft Skills Sharp in execution and reporting, the ideal candidate has an innovative and proactive spirit and has a propensity for problem solving, teamwork and sharing solutions.
