ResponsibilitiesThe Design HSE engineer (intended as Process Safety / Loss prevention / Technical Safety Lead Engineer) ensures, in his good autonomy, the participation and/or support in all activities of the HSE engineering discipline in the scope of work for offers/projects/studies under the supervision of discipline coordinator.He/She has the specific know-how for Process safety design and Risk analysis, with good and referenced knowledge of:- Safety design ( HSE legislation/norms compliance, layout spacing, spill containment)- Hazard/Risk analysis ( HAZOP, SIL, QRA, FERA)- Fire protection ( F&G, fire fighting and fireproofing design, hazardous area classification)- Environmental protection ( BAT compliance, emission limits specification, noise study)He/She:- is able to do the necessary calculations and simulations to produce the relevant documentation of complex projects and/or check/approve the corresponding documentation produced by assigned junior resources or external resources- provides supervision to the preparation of studies, documentation, technical specifications, roadmaps (P&ID), reports for process engineering development (in the different phases of Feasibility, Basic, FEED and Detailed Engineering and in the offer phases)- provides technical and organizational management as Lead engineer of the teams assigned for the specific projects (operational and/or offer), reporting to the HSEengineering discipline coordinator- participates to meetings with Customers, Consortium Partners, Authorities, Suppliers, (both at the company’s headquarters and elsewhere - Italy or abroad), for activities related to the assigned tasks- participate to surveys or assistance in field for HSEengineering subjects- provide assistance to other engineering disciplines for the development of engineering activities related to the HSEengineering documentation produced and for the correct application of the corresponding requirements- executes his works in compliance with company project standards and quality policies, with the applicable laws and regulations, and according to the schedule of the assigned projects- keeps him/herself updated about the technological developments, new risk analysis methodologies and issues of new/updated safety laws and regulations.- is open to use/develop methodologies of Process safety (HSEeng design) to be applied to industrial fields of Oil&Gas, Energy Transition, Green economy, Refinery, Power generation and Infrastructures, under the supervision of discipline coordinator- supports the training of young HSEengineers in the teams.Your ProfileGood knowledge of Process safety/HSEeng design including consequence and risk analysis, fire protection design, environmental protection. Leadership. Curiosity and open-mindedness. Self-management. Problem solving. Teamwork and collaboration. Professionalism and work ethic. Oral and written communications skills.
