Lab Services Intern

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an exceptionally motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Lab Services Intern. As a world-class leader in scientific innovation, we offer an opportunity to gain invaluable experience and make a significant impact in the field of pharmaceutical manufacturing.

In this role, you will have the chance to collaborate with our Quality Control Teams at our Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plant in Monza. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Performing IR analysis on defective units discovered during the VI and AQL to classify the foreign matter as intrinsic, extrinsic, or inherent
  • Supporting the team in the creation of the IR gallery and the book of contaminants
  • Issuing relevant documentation/reports to allow lot release

To be successful in this position, you must have:

  • Proven knowledge of IR analysis
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • The capability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
  • Efficiency, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn all aspects of Quality Control
  • Effective communication skills at all levels
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Good knowledge of English (preferable)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
