Are you an **IT Infrastructure Specialist** looking to grow your career in one of the largest logistics companies globally?

Your Role The IT Infrastructure Specialist plays a crucial role within the IT function at Kuehne+Nagel, a vital asset supporting various business activities. This position ensures seamless business operations and focuses on driving continuous IT infrastructure innovation and digital transformation. As a part of the IT Department, you will contribute to help desk functions while maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities include delivering high-quality services, emphasizing continuous improvement, and prioritizing IT security.

Your Responsibilities

Security:

  • Monitor daily IT KPIs to enhance IT security
  • Identify and report any risks (hardware or software) that may impact system operations
  • Adhere to Corporate IT security policies

Technical Features:

  • Manage monitoring tools and ensure the functionality of Italian Servers, Databases, and Network components
  • Supervise daily Backup Procedures
  • Organize and update IT documentation on Team's Wiki
  • Handle Microsoft 365 environment (Onedrive, Sharepoint, Teams)
  • Conduct Network troubleshooting
  • Oversee radiofrequency equipment (RF gun, vehicle-mounted, printer)

User Support:

  • Collaborate with Help Desk Support across Italian sites/offices
  • Assist in maintaining local hardware across Italian sites
  • Support requirements gathering for new sites, warehouses, and business needs

Process Improvement:

  • Contribute to improving IT Infrastructure through proposal submissions and idea generation
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Proficient with hardware devices
  • Experience with major office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace)
  • Skilled in server administration (configuration, management, maintenance)
  • Knowledgeable in network administration (infrastructure management)
  • Effective collaborator with strong problem-solving skills and a cooperative mindset
  • Intermediate level proficiency in English
