Summary

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (COMPENSATION/LABOR RELATIONS) in the Foreign Labor Programs/Human Resources (N13) of COMMANDER NAVY REGION EUROPE, Italy. This position serves as a Foreign Labor Officer to negotiate with foreign labor unions, advise on foreign local national issues, conduct surveys with host country government officials, U.S. Forces authorities and Human Resources Offices.



Duties
  • You will assist with negotiations with foreign labor unions, courts, and industrial tribunals.
  • You will advise managers on foreign national issues.
  • You will negotiate international agreements involving labor cost sharing resources with representatives of host governments.
  • You will conduct studies of human resources policies and processes to identify areas in need of improvement.
  • You will review and analyze survey data, prepare new pay scales, compare with current pay rates to determine need for pay adjustments and fringe benefit changes.
