WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

As the electrical grid and infrastructure becomes smarter, we are seeing a multitude of new growth opportunities in new and existing verticals. As Business Development Manager, you will drive growth in the cooling applications for the nVent HOFFMAN brand . This position will continuously hunt for new prospects to develop , handle an existing key account list , and closely collaborate with the dedicated team, on collecting new opportunities and generating new product ideas. In this role, you will also responsible for driving specification at target accounts. The role implies remote working and a travel time of around 30-40% (mainly North Italy) with minimal overnight travel required.

Sales Leadership

  • Passionately develop new growth ideas and opportunities , by finding prospects with customers to drive new sales
  • Take the lead with implementing account penetration strategies, assisting in the preparation of a proposal, communicating the proposal to the agents, and following up until order closes
  • Provide new business opportunity and sales pipeline updates to management via SalesForce on account and conversion status of target accounts on a regular basis
  • Drive collaboration across nVent brands that operate in same vertical market

Strategy Deployment

  • Collaborate with marketing team and product manager to identify industry opportunities and settle appropriate sales models and methods to support industry growth
  • Actively communicate competitive feedback and market dynamics internally to help further improve solution selling and market messages
  • Coordinate field activities and communications to align with key customer.
  • Position Hoffman and nVent as the brand of choice within key accounts

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred in an engineering and/or business focus field.
  • Ideally 10 + years outside sales/business development activities and marketing program management experience in refrigeration industry
  • Phenomenal skills in finding and encouraging new relationships with all levels within customer organizations.
  • You are a great listener, passionate about understanding, and addressing customer needs
  • Hands-on, high-energy approach in engaging with different teams to implement a strategic plan with project management, based on a structured timeline approach.
  • You master fine skills in delivering effective presentations and proposals in a clear and compelling manner
  • Write and speak proficient Italian & English .German knowledge would be nice to have.
