RINA is looking for a Geo-Hazards Consultant to join its team in Milan, Genoa or Rome, Italy within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.

Mission

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and accountable for technical tasks, capable of working independently and collaboratively within the team. Responsibilities include working on challenging projects, processing data, and achieving outstanding results in a dynamic business environment.

Key Accountabilities
  • Perform marine geophysical site interpretation and technical reporting with attention to detail.
  • Interpret geophysical, geotechnical, and geological data accurately.
  • Conduct geohazard and risk assessment analyses.
  • Integrate data for ground modeling assessment.
  • Present interpretation results effectively through maps and technical reports.
  • Required to work occasionally offshore on geophysical vessels.
Education

Master's Degree in Geology or similar.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in geohazard assessment and geological reporting for Oil&Gas and Wind Farm industries.
  • Proficiency in IHS Kingdom.
  • Experience with software packages like ArcGIS, Global Mapper, SonarWiz, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work offshore occasionally.
  • Experience in geophysical data acquisition and processing is a plus.
  • Master's degree in Geology/Earth Sciences or related field is preferred.
