Job Description Summary

As the Combustors & Structures Material Leader, you will play a key role in establishing a new work structure in a dynamic and growing setting. Your primary focus will be on achieving set goals related to output, inventory, and customer satisfaction. This position requires frequent collaboration with customers, suppliers, and production teams.

In this role, you will oversee the material flow coordination, ensuring seamless processes and adherence to production schedules.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Determine forecasts for input, output, and inventory
  • Revamp team roles and responsibilities to align with growth objectives
  • Oversee supplier performance and on-time delivery, serving as the primary point of contact for critical materials
  • Lead Fulfillment team to enhance customer communication, reports, and recovery strategies
  • Ensure inventory targets are met to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Optimize processes using data and technology to align with Flow Technology and Demand Based Management principles
  • Develop and assign efficient manufacturing productivity plans to meet customer schedules
  • Monitor and improve inventory levels, cycle time, and machine efficiency to meet production targets
  • Provide strategic direction for planning and scheduling activities in the organization
  • Utilize advanced planning tools to create optimized material plans and implement master schedules

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Hold a Master's degree in Engineering from a reputable institution
  • Demonstrated experience in manufacturing and materials management
  • Proven track record in a managerial capacity
  • Embrace a Servant Leadership approach
  • Proficient in production and inventory control techniques
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix organization
  • Strong organizational and Lean Six Sigma skills
  • Fluency in Italian and English
  • Valid work authorization as per local regulations

  • Experience in managing high mix/low volume environments
  • Exposure to various stakeholders such as suppliers, customers, and production teams
  • Understanding of contractual terms and their impact on inventory management

  • Effective communication and leadership abilities
