Job Description

The Visual Inspection Operator is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and assisting with equipment setup/startup. You will also assist with leading the flow of a VI line, GMP documentation, in process troubleshooting, breakdown investigations, and visual inspection activities.

· Observe mechanical equipment in operation and follow good troubleshooting practices to optimize performance

· Operate, recognize, and remedy quality problems, and perform changeovers and cleanups as required.

· fill out departmental documentation correctly

· Perform VI line operation, including operating/monitoring equipment, inspection, and if needed manual visual inspection of vials.

· Assist in Line Clearances between batches, follow cleanup sheet directions, follow verbal orders or requests from group leader/supervisor, and perform other duties as required

· Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvements), Lean and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities.

· Work with Supervisor, Unit Coordinator, & Mechanics to ensure that quality, waste and efficiency are meeting requirements.

· Complete improvement activities on quality and work process efficiency.

· Follow quality standards in accordance with company policy.

How will you get here?

· Experienced working in a related manufacturing line.

· Basic knowledge and experience using manufacturing equipment & mechanical proficiency

· Communicate effectively

· Ability to read work instructions, and procedure manuals/diagrams

· Ability to work well with minimal supervision.

· Experience in pharmaceutical production and packaging preferred.

· Experience in Visual inspection activities
