Cofren is a leading manufacturer and supplier of brake pads for freight and passenger trains.

How will you make a difference?

As Finance Manager , reporting to the Finance Director of Product Line, you will be responsible to ensure a careful financial management of the Company, drive organization's financial operations and improve financial performance.

What will your typical day look like?

In a matrix organization, with Controllership & Accounting team and tasks, reporting dotted to Controllership & Accounting Country function:

• Plan, implement and manage the overall financial strategy, administrative and controlling activities.
• Ensures the correct application of administrative and accounting procedures, in line with the criteria set by Wabtec Group and in compliance with current legislation
• Ensures the correct financial and administrative data collection and provide accounting results and periodic reporting,
• Monitors financial performance in compliance with budget/forecast
• Processes tax and balance sheet
• Ensures compliance with the application of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) laws in company procedures
• Manages and coordinates activities related to corporate bodies (board of directors and shareholders' meeting, auditing firm, statutory auditors and supervisory board 231 Italian
• Collaborates with "project management" and with "manufacturing" focusing on product profitability and working capital, identifying all the optimizations necessary to increase company profitability targets
• Manages the Finance & Administration budget and Strategic Plan and related performance indicators
• Manages relations with banks, factoring companies and external bodies
• Coordinates treasury activities both with the Group and with third parties, including parent companies and bank guarantees
• Oversees the credit and collection management process and implements all actions to improve Working Capital in order to maximize the company's cash
• Analyze and approve capital Investments
• Ensures continuous improvement on the assigned function and activities
• Coordinates legal matters for areas of its expertise
• Guarantees insurance coverage for the areas of its competence

What do we want to know about you?

• +5 years of Finance Manager experience in a similar position
• degree in Economics and Commerce
• fluent English
• knowledge of ERP
• knowledge of International GAAP (IFRS or USGAAP) reporting
• Great communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of stakeholders
