Main responsibilities and activities

In the MS&T Department we are looking for a brilliant profile reporting to the Site MS&T Head with the following responsibilities and activities:

  • Executes process chemistry experiments and analytical evaluations in support of process investigations, robustness studies, process optimization programs, new suppliers' qualification, and cleaning procedures.
  • Prepares isolates and purifies impurities for deficiency letter, carry-over determination and customer service support as required.
  • Supports and performs experimentation for deficiency letter, carry-over determination and customer service support as required.
  • Provides process chemistry support and collaborates to process scale up and technology transfer from either R&D (new product) and / or Teva Manufacturing Site (existing commercial product).
  • Performs process chemistry experiments to support the evaluation of new production technologies.
  • Creates MS&T Process Chemistry reports.
  • Collaborates with production and senior MS&T staff in order to monitor process information and to collect and analyze process data.
  • Collaborates with senior MS&T staff in process simulations and modellisation with advanced software that mimics industrial scale and processes.
Requirements

Education:

  • B.S. degree in industrial chemistry, chemistry or equivalent science degree.
  • Preferred Master's degree in industrial chemistry, chemistry or equivalent science degree.
  • Basic knowledge of GMP is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
  • Good communication and influencing skills.

Languages:

English and Italian (fluently spoken and written). Other languages are preferable.

Minimum Experience / Training required:

1- 5 years of experience in API, chemical, or related manufacturing industry, in R&D/ MS&T or production department.
