Wall Street Football is the first B2B supplier of a platform for investing, betting and trading on the real performances of football players. We are an innovative start-up, legally based in Italy, with a team spreaded around multiple European countries and looking at the global market.

Our core-asset is a fully-automated mathematical and statistical model integrated with machine learning for analyzing data and forecasting future player achievements and actions (already developed and tested). Our main products (SaaS and White Label solutions built on top of the afore-mentioned technology) are fixed odd bets and financial derivatives based on the individual performance of footballers.

We are currently launching our products in the gaming and online betting markets in partnership with top tier operators.

Our vision is to expand our products to athletes of the major sports worldwide and ultimately become the first Sport Fintech.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a talented full stack engineer to join our journey into redefining sports betting and sports analytics.

You will work in direct contact with the founding and engineering team in building the foundation of our API and pricing platform. You will have the opportunity to join a dynamic and multinational environment where your work will have a direct impact on the final users.

This is a remote working opportunity.

Key responsibilities

You will work directly with an engineering and data science team of 3 people and the CTO to build new services and features for our products.

You will be responsible for:

contributing in the development of APIs and services for our low latency Athletes Pricing platform;

tackling features from front to back to deployment;

supporting our web-based product with the implementation of high-performant APIs;

working closely with our data scientists for integrating new components and algorithms.

We're looking for a motivated and skilled Full Stack Software Engineer, with experience building integrated, scalable and robust SaaS applications and APIs.

You will have the chance to be an active participant of product discussions and decisions in a fast paced and quickly growing environment.

To qualify the role you must have

+5 years of experience building highly-scalable and well-performing web applications
Proven track record of building REST API's and low latency distributed systems
Proficiency in Java and Python
Solid fundamentals in OO design, patterns, data structures and algorithms
NoSQL database experience (MongoDB preferred)

Bonus points

Have experience working with Spring Framework
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and AWS
Experience working with HTML5, Javascript ES6+/ Typescript, CSS3 and responsive design
Familiar with modern JavaScript front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
Previous experience in the betting/ gaming industry
