PURPOSE OF THE JOB


The Retail Education Manager implements training programs for the Maison, in line with HQ guidelines, to ensure excellent customer service and to contribute to market share evolution.

The chosen candidate will manage and develop training tools and will measure the impact of training and coaching programs. These missions will be handled through Masterclasses, Webinars, instore activities or events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement both internal and external trainings in line with the Maison's guidelines, adapting the strategy to retailer/people specific environments
  • Proactively recommend specific trainings to improve retail performance (soft & hard skills topics), in coordination with the Retail Manager
  • Adapt the training modules and be creative in inventing new ways to deliver trainings
  • Leverage knowledge of competitors' trainings and retail/consumer trends
  • Deliver training programs with the appropriate module and allocate team resources appropriately
  • Implement individual training path for LFB retail staff
  • Liaise with commercial and marketing teams to offer both an adapted expertise program as well as ongoing novelty trainings
  • Measure and monitor sellout team's performance following training actions
  • Track field training actions

PROFILE

  • High level of competence in presentation
  • Strategic agility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to build and develop effective teams
  • Customer service oriented and focused on sales
  • Advanced understanding of training methods
  • Proactive, curious, able to think "out of the box"
  • Solid experience in adapting training programs (with a possible focus on sales)
  • Strong experience in training including delivery of trainings (experience within the cosmetic industry and/or retail would be a plus)
  • Experience in sales training in retail environment
  • Previous experience as sales advisor would be considered a plus
  • Personal affinity with brand and product
  • Agility to work in a complex environment
  • Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word and Excel)
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus
  • Available to travel frequently
