You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOCAL DISPATCH CENTER SPECIALIST in the Emergency Management Subdivision of NAS SIGONELLA, Italy.

• You will develop schedules to ensure continual coverage of emergency operations.
• You will train personnel on how to effectively communicate and utilize computer systems in order to maintain effectiveness, efficiency and National Certifications with all Emergency Medical Dispatchers.
• You will test and evaluate and place necessary trouble tickets for Emergency Dispatch related equipment including but not limited to radio systems, fire and IDS alarm systems, computer aided dispatch, CCTV and mass notification.
• You will coordinate Force Protection and Fire Drills and prepare reports of all incidents.
• You will confirm the location and type of emergency (e.g., type of fire, medical emergency, vehicle accident) to dispatch manpower and vehicles required for the situation.
• You will monitor the status of emergency services and personnel to determine the availability of fire, medical, and police response units.
• You will supervise or lead a team by assigning and directing work, monitoring performance, establishing priorities and adjusting workload.
• You will maintain radio communication with responding emergency personnel and coordinate request for additional resources.
