Job Purpose:

You will be instrumental in driving, owning, and executing upon the strategic sales plans (hardware, software, expert services) to deliver top-line growth and market share gains within the region, by offering solutions that meet customer pain points and needs.

Managing the local sales function and team, you will be responsible for actively developing and engaging new and established customers across the region, to achieve presence in the market, sales targets, and long-term sustainable partnerships.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Identify target customers and key accounts in focus verticals and create outreach to build multi-stakeholder relationships.
  • Prepare Annual/Quarterly/Monthly regional business plans and forecasting.
  • Develop, execute and grow the regional plan, aligned to the strategic priorities of the global commercial team.
  • Drive customer engagement across the region and strategic verticals through voice of customer feedback.
  • Work with other colleagues to provide a coordinated solution selling approach for Prüftechnik NDT.
  • Deliver consistent market growth through the identification of new customers and market opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with inside sales, local colleagues and the wider supporting network to ensure best in class customer satisfaction.
  • Carry out demonstrations and presentations to open new opportunities for customers. Utilizing solutions selling methodology and tools.
  • Develop account growth strategies and processes that will result in an aggressive goal with guidance and leadership for connected reliability.
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding and ownership of opportunity funnel, forecasted bookings/revenue and sales cycle management.
  • Install best in class key account management and funnel management.
  • Provide market analysis (vertical specific), identify industry trends and understand the competitive landscape to adapt the PT NDT offering to meet customer needs.
  • Be a partner for strategic customers and play a leading role in their reliability journey.

Qualifications/Skills and knowledge:
  • Degree-educated or extensive sales/KAM experience, within Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in the Non-Destructive testing field would be highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully balance the achievement of short-term objectives with longer-term strategic goals to grow a region.
  • Bias for action with strong results orientation; Willingness to take a critical view of stretch goals and initiatives to drive breakthrough results.
  • Strong communication and presence across a range of customers including strategic & Key accounts.
  • Demonstrated a high-intensity, high-initiative approach towards owning and growing the business.
  • Advanced CRM/funnel management skills and methodology.
  • Required primary excellent language skills (verbal and written): Italian and English
