Job SummaryRaffles Education is recruiting for a Jewellery Design Lecturer to be base in our vibrant and exciting College in South East Asia. The incumbent will be working together with a team of diverse nationalities Creative Practitioners to craft out the next generation of Jewellery Designers' creativities.Responsibilities:
  • To plan, design, deliver, assess, evaluate and manage classroom activities within the designated subjects, providing the highest levels of quality in the delivery of teaching, learning and assessment to students.
  • To teach in a creative way by utilising technologies and other resources as appropriate and in line with the College's inclusion approach and Learning, Teaching and Assessment Policy, to meet both the needs of the students and the course requirements.
  • To work together with the department Programme Director to achieve the successful day-to-day operation of classes.
  • To follow College and Departmental quality procedures by maintaining and completing up-to-date classroom delivery, lesson plans, schemes of work, assessment of students' progress and achievements.
  • To assist with school promotional activities (Open House, Trade Shows, Education Fairs, etc.) as proposed by the College.
Requirements:
  • A Master (preferred) / Bachelor in Jewellery Design or in a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years' relevant industry experience with credible portfolios / practices.
  • A minimum of 2 years lecturing experience in relevant Jewllery Design programme.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to handle students of diverse nationalities.
