RINA is seeking a skilled FPGA Engineer to join their team in Roma under the Space & Defence Division.

Mission
  • Support system engineer in FPGA definition;
  • Detail FPGA specifications;
  • Evaluate IP cores;
  • Architect FPGA;
  • Design FPGA in VHDL;
  • Check coding rules;
  • Perform code coverage;
  • Create FPGA testbench;
  • Conduct simulations;
  • Synthesize and perform P&R;
  • Analyze pre and post-layout simulations;
  • Participate in FPGA test and validation.
Key Accountabilities
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or Physics;
  • Familiarity with VHDL and / or Verilog-System Verilog code;
  • Proficiency in FPGA development tools (Vivado);
  • Experience in hardware development for Digital Signal Processing applications;
  • FPGA design and simulation proficiency;
  • Project Development Plan understanding;
  • Knowledge of Tools: Vivado HLS 2018.3; QuestaSim 10.6;
  • Laboratory instrumentation knowledge (e.g. multimeter and oscilloscope);
  • Nice to have: prior military FPGA design experience.
Education
Master's Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering or ElectronicsQualifications
