We are looking for a Building X Ecosystem Development Professional to be hired with a permanent contract in Milano within the Smart Infrastructure Building X area.

Your Challenge

As Building X Ecosystem Development Professional your mission will be to foster the Building X ecosystem across businesses within Siemens and expand it beyond Siemens to a true open business ecosystem including a wide range of partners from portfolio partners and IT system integrators to the new go to market channel partners in the system integrator domain. Building X is Siemens' IoT platform for buildings which combines the physical and digital worlds in a single source of truth to accelerate Sustainability, Experience and Performance.

Some of the main activities will be:

  • Manage internal and external Building X partner engagements.
  • Identify new partner segments and win new partners in target segment.
  • Promote Building X platform capabilities and applications and benefits of the ecosystem to prospective partners.
  • Act as a partner ambassador, ensure all partner-related topics are taken care of within the relevant departments and remove roadblocks together with portfolio and solutions design and customer support.
  • Provide input to portfolio management on new product features from partner requests.
  • Be part of the overall strategy process to foster Building X ecosystem.
  • Contribute to a smooth cooperation with Siemens local organizations, other units and sales channels by joint, goal-oriented actions.

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:

  • Proven experience in sales or business development for technical B2B products, ideally involving cloud and software products.
  • Ideally you possess sound knowledge of the building technology businesses (portfolios, sectors, key players).
  • Education background in a technical field, economics, or sales.
  • With your confident, networking and relationship building personality, you are able to exercise influence in multicultural environments in an ethical and responsible manner.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25 % of time.
  • Passion to never-stop growing.
  • Respect and appreciation of each person's uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge.
  • Proficiency in English and Italian.
  • Eligibility to work in Italy.
