The R&D (Research and Development) Technician conducts the technical support and laboratory work to assist in the implementation of projects and initiatives considering all safety regulations and company standards.

• Ensure that all activities conform to legislative, Health and Safety and Environmental requirements, including the adoption and tracking of laboratory best practices.
• Read, understand, and apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and working Instructions.
• Responsible for the maintenance of his/her laboratory equipment and working space, keeping inventory, and ordering items when required.
• Responsible for a proper operation, standardization & maintenance of lab equipment
• Maintain accurate and updated laboratory notebooks, while keep an accurate documentation of test results.
• Participate and support projects and teams on defined task.
• Run technical laboratory tests and activities according to project development, e.g. performance, stability, produce laboratory or pilot samples, etc.
• Suggest improvement on defined processes or management of the laboratory.
• Have a collaborative approve with and within the team(s).

• Be qualified at least with school diploma in relevant professional areas (i.e. Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent education level
• Technical experience in one or more related Research & Development area is advantageous
• Ability to understand requirements of laboratory activities to support product development
• Understanding physical and chemical risks of R&D area
• Ability to report activities accurately and in line with laboratory practice
• At least basic Microsoft Office skill level
• Basic knowledge of English is preferred, advanced Italian language skills.
