RINA is currently looking for a Carbon Reduction Engineer to join their team in Genova, Italy within the ESG & Sustainability Division.
Mission
The Environment & Climate Change Unit at RINA needs a Carbon Reduction Engineer to assist energy, industrial, and services sector players in quantifying GHG emissions and developing decarbonization and energy transition plans at both corporate and product levels.
- assist clients with GHG emissions quantification and reduction projects;
- support energy assessments, carbon footprints/life cycle analyses, and research on energy transition topics;
- stay up to date with regulatory requirements on GHG emissions and energy transition;
- provide technical advice to clients and internal staff as required;
- participate in International, EU, and R&D projects;
- conduct client meetings, needs analysis, and collaborate with technical teams;
- prepare technical proposals.
Qualifications
- minimum 2 years of experience in GHG emissions, energy transition, or climate change activities;
- passion for the energy transition field;
- strong report and proposal writing skills;
- proficient in English, additional languages a plus;
- willingness to travel for business.

Education
Master's Degree in Engineering, preferably Energy or Environmental Engineering.
