Our client is an Italian manufacturing company in the food and beverage industry.

Job Description

The new manager will be responsible for the main following tasks:

Lead the production plant, also coordinating engineering and industrialisation departments;Manage maintenance department, innovative machinery installation and external providers with a solid technical and technological knowledge and approach;Work closely with other teams such as quality, R&D, logistics and customer service;Improve efficiency and quality production in order to upgrade the product portfolio;Support and lead the industrial transformation plan;Supervise all the manufacturing processes in order to meet the business requirements, also avoiding and eventually handling non compliance;Deploy good practices optimising processes in terms of efficiency and be able to maintain high level of motivation in the operations department;Manage and coordinate strategic preventive and predictive maintenance programs.Be part of the turnaround project of the company and its Group. The Successful Applicant Degree in Engineering or equivalent culture; MBA or advanced degree is desirable;Proven experience in the food & beverage sector gained in top management roles in operations or production; deep knowledge of mixing, pasteurisation and liquids filling processes will be considered an asset;Previous strong experience within industrial manufacturing organisation with solid operations background; Lean management experience and process optimisation are welcome;Performance analysis with effective quantitative data reports;Strong expertise in production processes and machines, able to act effectively within complex organisation through a correct delegation process, training and supporting team growth;Deep knowledge of industrial manufacturing issues with consolidated expertise in planning and maintenance matters;Proven leadership skills, pro activity and authority, acquired in the consolidation of managerial roles;Analytic and organisational skills, result oriented, problem solving and enthusiasm;Strong ability in working relationships (colleagues, clients and suppliers);Attitude to operate in entrepreneurial contexts with a good level of autonomy and precision;Excellent interpersonal, presentation, influencing and verbal reasoning skills;Fluency in English and Italian is required.
