The position entails the crucial task of conceptualizing, refining, and orchestrating formulation enhancement initiatives and process streamlining ventures for both liquid and lyophilized medicinal products.

The Formulation Scientist will be responsible for:

  • Drafting protocols, operational guidelines, and comprehensive reports concerning the tasks executed within Thermo Fisher's non-GMP laboratory in Monza.
  • Assisting in the oversight of equipment and supplies necessary for project execution.
  • Fostering effective communication with team members and clients alike.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in CTF, Pharmacy, Chemistry
  • A Ph.D. in Drug Delivery would be an advantageous asset.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in GMP practices is advantageous.
  • Substantial expertise in formulating injectable solutions (including dispersions and suspensions) and familiarity with the lyophilization process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with Design of Experiment methodologies is a beneficial skill.

Work Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of involvement in the pharmaceutical sector within R&D departments focused on drug product development.

Languages:

  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
