About the role:

Throughout the internship in the Purchasing Department, you will have the opportunity to learn different aspects of this crucial department.

What you will do:

  • Check all incoming goods against delivery invoices, food specifications and purchase records to ensure that the type, amount, price and quality of items charged and ordered are correct.
  • Complete daily and monthly inventories of the Hotel storages.
  • Handle all deliveries of goods to the appropriate departments placing them in appropriate storerooms.
  • Assist with regular cleaning and re-organization of storerooms.
  • Support with other departmental tasks if needed.

What you bring:

  • Flexibility and a can-do approach.
  • Teamwork attitude and good interpersonal skills.
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian language. English would be a plus.

Schedule & Hours:

  • This internship position is based at the Four Seasons Hotel Florence and available from August 2024. All successful candidates must possess legal right to work in Italy at the time of application.
