This role involves managing production processes ensuring optimal use of resources maintaining safety and quality standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Plant Head will work closely with crossfunctional teams to meet production targets improve operational efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations ensuring adherence to production schedules and efficiency targets.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize productivity reduce costs and improve product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations safety standards and company policies.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet production demands without overstocking.
  • Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead mentor and develop a team of production managers engineers and other plant personnel.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance reviews set objectives and identify training needs to enhance team capabilities.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency quality and safety across the plant.
  • Collaborate with R&D and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control:
  • Develop and manage the plant s operational budget ensuring financial performance aligns with corporate goals.
  • Monitor and control manufacturing costs including labor materials and overhead.
  • Implement costsaving initiatives without compromising on quality or safety.
  • Quality & Safety Management:
  • Ensure all production activities meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Investigate and resolve any quality or safety issues implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop longterm manufacturing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Evaluate market trends technological advancements and industry best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Plan and oversee plant expansions equipment upgrades and capacity increases as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience in a senior manufacturing role within a largescale plant preferably in Industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate large teams.
  • Indepth knowledge of manufacturing processes production planning and quality control.
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting cost control and resource allocation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization from plant floor staff to senior executives.
