XR Architect

Capgemini Engineering is looking for an Immersive Reality Architect, Milan or Turin site.

The Immersive Reality Architect will:

• Support Go2Market and business development activities across different markets
• Manage the technical evolution of the XR Based Services by following technology trends and continuously scouting of new technical solutions
• Conceive and design new technical solutions according to specific market needs
• Participate to project delivery to assure the proper technical governance and project quality
• Support the scouting of new talents on the market

The ideal candidate have a master’s degree in Computer Engineering or similar titles and have at least 5 -7 years of professional experience.

Key Requirements for the position are:

• Deep knowledge of AR/VR enabling technologies and curiosity to follow the relevant technology trends
• Experience and interest to take part to business development actions for technical proposal definition
• Good knowledge of 3D Realtime Platforms: Unity, Unreal, Nvidia Omniverse
• Good knowledge of XR devices and related market trends
• Good proficiency in English both written and spoken
• Experience in end2end technical solutions design according to specific market needs
• Experience in project delivery and technical project leading
• Travel availability

They will also be evaluated positively:

• Active participation to XR communities, professional networks and events as key note speaker
• Knowledge of Phyton, C#, C++, Java and Node JS
• Knowledge of WebXR, PTC Vuforia, Godot Engine
• Gaming Industry background
• Experience in design of complex software architectures involving Cloud (Azure, AWS), IoT and AI
