About the Role:

We are currently looking for a talented R&D Laboratory Specialist who will support the DTC Department Premium Chocolate in the development of a successful cross-country range of new products.

Main Responsibilities:

The candidate will work in a highly dynamic and international environment within Ferrero, with the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the management in managing all laboratory activities.
  • Ensure the timely and efficient execution of all laboratory tests in accordance with the evolution of the legislation, ensuring analytical and interpretative reliability to protect the consumer.
  • Support the manager in proposing solutions aimed at improving product-related aspects, raw materials, semi-finished products, and all production processes.
  • Ensure the organization of the laboratory.
  • Ensure the sampling required for tastings, sensory analysis, and taste tests.
  • Contribute to the application of the rules on health and safety at work and HACCP.
  • Participate in the study of new doses and provide for their drafting.
  • Support the decision-making process.
  • Manage and develop resources.
Who we are looking for:
  • Degree in Food Technology or similar.
  • 1-2 years of experience in R&D laboratories in food industries.
  • Knowledge of raw and semi-finished products.
  • Techniques such as chocolate tempering, moulding, enrobatura, and doses preparation.
  • Excellent command of PC (Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of SAP.
