Food Service Retail Manager, Full-Time

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Hardees Dining Retail Manager at The Ohio Turnpike-Blue Heron.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Effectively manage multiple retail dining locations and service teams with a hands-on approach.
  2. Provide leadership, driving quality and efficiency in the areas of customer service, food production, menu development, product selection, quality control, sanitation, housekeeping, merchandising, marketing, and promotions.
  3. Manage inventory control, product forecasting, and food and supplies ordering.
  4. Handle cash appropriately and operate and troubleshoot the POS system as needed; train others to operate the system and learn how to navigate the POS system.
  5. Ensure proper merchandising and marketing materials within each retail location.
  6. Monitor operating procedures, supervise staff, and provide training development as needed.
  7. Ensure excellent customer service in each retail food location.
  8. Comply with all AVI policies and procedures; maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Background inclusive of franchised quick service restaurant operations, preferably in a multi-unit capacity.
  2. Successful team leadership experience.
  3. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. ServSafe certification preferred.
  5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  6. Knowledge of POS systems.
