NOC Operator

We are looking for a Noc Operator for a full-time on-site position to join the team in Rome. A leader in the broadcast industry, iKO Media Group is a rising, young, high-performance media service company operating in state-of-the-art facilities with a skilled and dynamic international team. The candidate should be fluent in English and have basic computer know-how. Additional languages and technical knowledge would be considered an advantage. The position includes monitoring, operating, and supporting all of the company’s 24/7 global and domestic content distribution services. Working hours – 24/7 shift basis. Please note that this is not a remote/hybrid/smart working position.

1. Monitor telecommunications/broadcasting systems, supervise the technical components’ functions, and ensure they are active and problem-free.
2. Customer support – act as the initial point of contact for all the company’s clients.
3. Troubleshoot and fix technical issues.
4. Accountable for managing events and ensuring that they are resolved while maintaining a detailed record of the problems and methods used to solve them.
5. Manage escalation process until resolution, including coordination with in-house engineers and third parties.
6. Manage and coordinate technical maintenance related to the company’s distribution services.
7. Monitor and operate, if needed, facility air-conditioning, UPS, generators, etc.
8. Work on a shift rotation basis, on a 24/7 basis.

1. Knowledge of English – a must.
2. Basic computer skills (MS Office programs).
3. Candidate has preferably a technical background from one of the following: RF, satellites, networks, electronics, video, and/or sound.
4. Engineering studies will be considered an advantage.
5. Technical or customer support experience will be considered an advantage.
6. Having a car will be considered an advantage.
