AECOM is seeking highly motivated Remediation Engineers with specific experiences in design, installation, operation and maintenance of remediation systems for contaminated soil & groundwater.
Our teams work on complex remediation projects, pulling the right resources from across the company to support project needs. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects that will challenge you technically while giving you the opportunity to work with senior individuals with a variety of experiences. The appointed person will be expected to have key role in the team, with the below responsibilities:
  • Contribute on overseeing remediation projects from beginning to completion
  • Support on managing and developing remediation proposals and projects covering all environmental aspects, associated regulation and staffing requirements
  • Conducting remedial alternatives analysis
  • Overseeing project budget and costs-benefit analyses
  • Co-ordinating and appointing subcontractors
  • Implementing the remediation proposals and handling all technical aspects
  • Performing generic and detailed quantitative risk assessment
  • Carrying out site work including set up and commissioning of treatment systems
  • Ensuring all parties meet compliance with environmental regulations
  • Obtaining necessary permits involved in the remediation project
  • Training staff on how to use and implement remediation systems
  • Compiling technical reports, daily logs and soil, water and chemical audits
  • Build sustainable relationships in order to meet our business development goals.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and team by evaluating project successes and challenges and sharing lessons learned to enhance performance within the business.
  • Apply and encourage a high level of health and safety awareness and quality management at all times.
  • Ensure effective communication with the project team and clients.
Other activities may include setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining proper project documentation.
