VRV, part of Chart Industries Inc., is an important industrial reality present for more than 60 years in the international arena both in the design and production of pressure equipment for the Oil & Gas sectors, and in the engineering and manufacture of insulation tanks for the distribution and storage of gas in the Cryogenic sector, as well as a company operating in the Automotive HNLG business.

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our Engineering Team of Cryogenic division.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  1. Process Design & Detail Engineering including performing process simulations, design calculations of piping systems, Process Optimization, and sizing.
  2. Preparation of various engineering deliverables (Drawings & Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, P&I Diagrams, Process Datasheets, Equipment Specifications, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Reports, Manuals, Technical Files and providing necessary engineering inputs to the other disciplines and other departments.
  3. Review/Approval of Clients and Vendors documents, specifications, datasheets, verification of FEED design & calculations.
  4. Drafting process ideas to reduce costs and improve production rates.
  5. Ensuring processes comply with safety and quality standards.
  6. Performing optimization tests.
  7. Developing routines and best practices to ensure product quality.
  8. Developing standardized operating instructions for the upgrades process.
  9. Liase with principal internal and external stakeholders such as Clients, Vendors, Product and Project Managers, Engineering, Purchase and Production Department to assess and provide process documents and standard operating procedures.
  10. Monitoring upgrades systems.

Requirements & Preferred Qualifications will be…

  1. Degree in chemical/mechanical/energy engineering or similar.
  2. At least 3-5 years of experience as a Process Engineer.
  3. Experience with process simulations and standard operating procedures.
  4. Knowledge of process engineering software systems.
  5. Good knowledge of design, technology, and manufacturing principles.
  6. PC skills including CAD systems at user level, especially 2D/3D CAD, Solidworks, Creo Element Direct and Microsoft Office excel.
  7. Fluent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
  8. Knowledge of “Pressure Equipment Directive” is a plus.
  9. Ability to work in dynamic and demanding conditions.
  10. Ability to work in a team, proactivity and good problem-solving skills complete the profile we are looking for.
