Internship/Thesis proposal: Economic and Manufacturing Cost Analysis for Proton Exchange Membrane Water Electrolysers

Il Centro Sustainable Energy è alla ricerca di un/a giovane studente interessato/a a svolgere un’esperienza di Internship tirocinio/tesi nell’ambito Idrogeno. Il/La candidato/a ideale è un/a giovane proattivo/a e dinamico/a, con buone capacità organizzative e relazionali, con propensione al lavoro in team, motivato/a intraprendere un’esperienza formativa in un contesto internazionale.

Attività previste

Si propone una tesi di laurea magistrale sullo svolgimento di un’analisi economica sui costi di produzione di un elettrolizzatore con tecnologia Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) di potenza nominale pari a 1 MW. La valutazione economica sarà condotta inizialmente attraverso la raccolta dati sui costi dei materiali necessari per la realizzazione dell’elettrolizzatore, i costi delle lavorazioni necessarie ai singoli componenti e infine i costi di assemblaggio. Il risultato finale permetterà di ottenere il costo per un MW della tecnologia analizzata. Un’analisi di sensitività per studiarne la possibile riduzione può essere approfondita.

Requisiti

  • Corso di Laurea Magistrale in fisica/chimica, ingegneria energetica-chimica o affine;
  • Conoscenza base del vettore H2;
  • Conoscenza fluente della lingua italiana e inglese scritta e parlata (liv. min. B1);
  • Conoscenza dei principali strumenti di analisi dati, e.g., Python, Excel;
  • Attitudini relazionali e di lavoro in team;
  • Buone capacità di adattamento, flessibilità e spirito di iniziativa;
  • Abilità informatiche per l’utilizzo dello strumento OFFICE.
