To plan, implement, coordinate and supervise HSE activities within projects, as per project complexity, scope of work, company methods, contractual requirements and relevant laws, standards and regulations.

To support the HSE company activities (e.g. bidding preparation, management system maintenance, training, indicators analysis and improvement initiatives).

To lead and influence coworkers and project teams, including suppliers/subcontractors, to act safely and to promote a safety behavioral culture.

TASKS
  1. To support Project HSE Managers in defining project HSE management strategy and activities among the project lifecycle from proposal phase to project execution/completion.
  2. To assist company functions and project teams in dealing with Clients in all issues related to Health, Safety and Environment.
  3. To ensure that all HSE activities at project level are carried on in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, client requirements, international standards and company Environmental and Safety Standards, including suppliers/subcontractors.
  4. To ensure vessel operations comply with ISM Code rules, SOLAS and MARPOL.
  5. To assist project team in developing risk assessment and/or reviewing subcontractor risk assessment.
  6. To support accidents/incidents investigation process in order to identify trends and suggest improvement plans at a project and company level.
  7. To monitor HSE actions tracking registers.
  8. To support HSE audits activities both internal and external (prequalification and project phases).
  9. To assist in developing and performing project safety training programs and to promote a safety behavioral culture within the organization and toward suppliers and subcontractors.
  10. To support the planning, collection, management and analysis of HSE indicators.
DESIRED SKILLS
  1. Having the purpose of reinforcing the HSE team, we are open to evaluate profiles with different seniority, having at least 3 years of HSE Management experience, within EPCI work environment, including Onshore and Offshore Construction and Installation activities and vessel operation. Manufactory/production experience will be a plus.
  2. Technical Degree (preferred chemical/environmental/mechanical/civil/naval engineering).
  3. Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 series standard; experience in preparation and maintenance of HSE Management Systems and auditing experience. Be qualified as lead auditor will be a plus.
  4. High PC literacy.
  5. Proficient in English, written and spoken; other languages will be a plus.
  6. Used to work in international and multicultural environment.
  7. Knowledge of risk analysis methodologies.
  8. Familiar with the International Maritime Organization ISM Code (International Safety Management Code) will be a plus.
