The role of the Sales Engineer is to support the sales team and work closely with them in the yards. The Sales Engineer is a professional who has technological training and knows in detail how the products work and how they can be integrated into our platform. They are the intermediary between the sales team visiting yards and the Navico Connect application Engineers. They support Navico Sales, support the customer, and act as a consultant for solutions that best suit the yard's requests.
Accountabilities:- Supporting the sales team and working closely with them in the yards to define the best strategy to promote Navico Connect Solution.
- Acting as a liaison between the sales team, yards, and Navico Connect application engineers.
- Supporting the sales team in Europe the marine OEM market.
- Acting as the point of contact for Mobile Navico Connect applications.
- Developing a product brief, highlighting project scope, forecasting, and project timeline/development steps.
- Developing a business case to evaluate business opportunity/margin and providing it with the product brief to management in order to move forward to the next steps.
- Visiting customers at the yards to gather feedback and find new ways to meet customer requests and needs.
- Supporting Navico Forlì Aftersales department by creating offers and managing customer relationships.
