QHSE Coordinator

Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a Quality/Health & Safety (QHSE) Coordinator to join the team in Rome, NY (USA).

Reporting to: Production Manager

The QHSE Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the plants' Health & Safety, Quality Management and Environmental Systems.

Auditing/Systems:

1. Performs risk assessments
2. Participates in Health & Safety meetings
3. Performs Internal Auditing
4. Analyzes Monthly HSE KPI statistics
5. Updates the ISO 18001 H&S system

Quality Control:

1. Performs first off checks
2. Performs Internal Auditing
3. Updates IMTE calibrations
4. Reports Monthly KPI Data
5. Updates Intravista system regarding BRC, Health, Safety and Environmental global standards

Administration/Reporting:

1. Reports Near misses
2. Establishes (RCA) Root Cause Analysis and closure

Background and Experience:

1. 1-3 years of Health & Safety and Environmental knowledge
2. 1-3 years of Product Quality Testing Experience
3. Computer Literacy

Interpersonal Skills:

1. Work is moderately supervised
2. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy
3. Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
4. Supervisory approval is obtained on situations where practices and procedures do not exist or where deviations to existing procedures occur
5. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
