As a Quality Control Inspector, you will perform quality checks, non-destructive tests, and control activities for the fabrication of components of various Baker Hughes products, following the applicable technical specifications, technical product drawings, and processing cycles. The activities must be carried out in compliance with the safety and quality standards defined by the company for the areas of competence.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily activities according to Health, Safety Environment & Quality standards.
  • Conduct material identification and execute quality checks of the state of the details in accordance with the applicable specifications.
  • Perform quality supervision, non-destructive tests, and cycle work documentation checks.
  • Participate in weekly HSE & Quality communication shared by Ops Leader and Production Supervisor with all the team (safety Talk & quality Talk).
  • Monitor quality KPIs.
  • Develop and execute Quality Assurance plans and NCR systems.
  • Supervise quality inspections.
  • Manage quality documentation and reports issued by inspectors.
  • Collect and archive quality records.
  • Support and participate in internal and external audits.
  • Participate in welding and NDT qualification activities.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma (preferably Mechanical Expert).
  • Preferably experience in a similar role in the Oil & Gas environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings/technical specifications.
  • Knowledge and expertise in using precision measuring instruments.
  • Availability for transfers and/or relocations.
  • Availability to work on weekends if necessary.
  • Preferable knowledge of the fundamentals of welding for manual, automatic, and semi-automatic processes.
  • Computer skills (using Excel, Word, e-mail, etc.).
  • Fluency in Italian; fluency in English is preferred.
