Maintenance Engineer

Responsabilità

  • Manutenzione delle strutture / infrastrutture
  • Coordina e segue la manutenzione preventiva e correttiva su componenti e/o sistemi critici
  • Coordina e segue le riparazioni, manutenzioni, installazioni e ispezioni in loco su sistemi critici
  • Monitora i parametri del sito attraverso l’utilizzo del BMS e si occupa della verifica allarmi e risoluzione dei problemi associati
  • Mantiene in efficienza degli impianti idraulici, antincendio e di sicurezza ed implementazione di misure di efficienza energetica
  • Presta assistenza ai membri del team nel coordinare gli interventi sulle infrastrutture critiche
  • Lavora su incarichi che richiedono un notevole giudizio e iniziativa. È il principale punto di contatto per il miglioramento dei processi applicati alla manutenzione degli impianti
  • Supporto dei fornitori
  • Coordina e dirige i fornitori nelle varie attività per garantire che le attività di manutenzione siano svolte secondo gli standard e i requisiti
  • Assiste nella creazione e presentazione di script per la manutenzione
  • Monitora e implementa il processo di approvazione attività fornitori per i servizi di manutenzione critica
  • In collaborazione con i fornitori, modifica/aggiorna i file tecnici per gli impianti e le attrezzature garantendo che le informazioni siano aggiornate
  • Coopera con l’IBX (Datacenter) Manager nella gestione del sito e del supporto agli incidenti
  • Si occupa della compilazione dei registri specializzati del sito e della raccolta dei dati per l'emissione di permessi
  • Identifica i punti di singolo guasto (SPOF) suggerendone le possibili soluzioni
  • È primo punto di contatto per la gestione degli incidenti in sito
  • Esegue root cause analysis (RCA) e suggerisce raccomandazioni per la soluzione delle problematiche
  • Supporta il personale in sito durante gli incidenti, garantendo il rispetto dei processi e delle procedure
  • Apporta, ove possibile, modifiche a sistemi meccanici, elettrici e specializzati
  • Collabora nella definizione e realizzazione di progetti infrastrutturali più complessi
  • Supporta la manutenzione del ciclo di vita/fine vita. progetti infrastrutturali e manutenzioni critiche
  • Può raccomandare progetti infrastrutturali
  • Collaborazione
  • Collabora con il team per risolvere gli incidenti all’interno del sito fungendo da mentore per i membri del team nelle attività di manutenzione specializzate
  • Informa i diretti interessati delle necessità di inventario per mantenere livelli ottimali di parti e attrezzature critiche

Requisiti

  • Laurea in Ingegneria o disciplina pertinente
  • Comprovata esperienza nel settore nella manutenzione di impianti complessi
  • Capacità a collaborare con una vasta gamma di stakeholder sia interni che esterni
  • Conoscenza operativa dei sistemi di ingegneria, inclusa la diagnosi avanzata e le riparazioni
  • Capacità di applicare la conoscenza dei processi e delle procedure di Equinix e degli standard del settore per la risoluzione dei problemi
  • Familiarità con il sistema di monitoraggio degli edifici (BMS)
  • Orientato all’ottenimento dei risultati e a soddisfare le aspettative dei clienti
  • Forti competenze di comunicazione scritta e verbale e ottima padronanza della lingua italiana e inglese
  • Proattività e forza di proposizione

Responsibilities

  • Facility / Infrastructure Maintenance
  • Performs specialized preventative and corrective maintenance on-site to critical facility components and/or systems
  • Performs moderately difficult repairs, maintenance, installations and on-site inspections to critical facility systems
  • Monitors the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and resolves alarms for specialized issues requiring considerable judgement
  • Operates and maintains plumbing, fire suppression, and life-safety systems
  • Implements energy efficiency measures
  • Assists team members on coordinating critical infrastructures
  • Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.
  • Vendor Support
  • Coordinates and directs vendors on skilled tasks to ensure that maintenance activities are carried out per standards and requirements
  • Assists with the creation and submission of scripts for maintenance
  • Tracks and implements the work approval process for service providers for critical maintenance
  • Site Administration & Incident Support
  • Performs specialized site logs and data gathering for issuing of permits
  • Identifies Single Points of Failure (SPOFs) and makes recommendations for solutions
  • Responds to all on-site incidents, including failures, significant problems and delays
  • Performs Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and makes recommendations for solutions
  • Supports the on-site staff during incidents
  • Demonstrates and supports processes and procedures are followed and adhered to
  • Work Orders & Additional Projects
  • Completes skilled work requests and circuit installations
  • Makes moderate changes to mechanical, electrical and specialized systems, as directed.
  • Collaboration
  • Collaborates with others to resolve difficult facility incidents
  • Effectively collaborates within the department; may mentor team members on skilled maintenance activities
  • Acts as a mentor to others in resolving incidents
