Tyvak International is seeking new members to join their team to support space mission development.

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Designer – protected categories (L. 68/99) to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed mechanical designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering and design principles, as well as the ability to translate concepts into precise, detailed models and drawings that meet project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in satellite configuration and mechanical design.
  • Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models of satellite systems and subsystems based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Support AIV for the acceptance of designed parts.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements.
  • Maintain an organized database of CAD files, ensuring version control and proper documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Belonging to protected categories (L. 68/99) is mandatory.
  • Previous experience as a CAD designer.
  • BS or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent degree required.
  • Strong mechanical background.
  • Ability to work with solid modeling software and FEA (SolidWorks).
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in applying advanced engineering principles.
  • Knowledgeable of inspection equipment, i.e., micrometers, indicators (usually acquired by machining or other precision hands-on experience).
  • Proficient use of written and oral English language is mandatory.

Other Information:

  • Contract type: temporary contract – 12 months with the possibility of extension.
  • Part-time (21 hours per week).

Salary and benefits are market competitive. Position expected to be filled as soon as possible.
