Security Certification Engineer Job Description

Championing certification standards from worldwide established authorities such as ISO, NIST, BSI, allows us to respond to sophisticated and rigorous demands from our customers in the most competitive manner. Responsibilities:
  1. Developing frameworks and automation tools for security certifications
  2. Building certified product configurations and driving their compliance throughout the cycle
  3. Maintaining technical requirements defined by certification bodies
  4. Maintaining certification testing requirements and automation
  5. Coordinating with production teams on implementing recommendations from certification labs
Qualifications:
  1. Around 5 years of total computing experience in academia / FOSS / commercial sectors
  2. Scripting skills in any of Python, Bash, Perl
  3. In-depth knowledge of Linux OS
  4. Knowledge of system hardening and security concepts
  5. Familiarity with Jira and Atlassian tools stack
  6. Hands-on experience of handling XML and YAML formats
  7. Understanding of OVAL, XCCDF, CPE data formats and feeds
  8. Hands-on knowledge: SCAP scanning
  9. Bonus knowledge: C programming
  10. Bonus experience: any of STIG, PCI DSS, CIS Benchmarks
  11. Bonus hands-on knowledge: Ansible, Salt
  12. Good communication level of English
