Databricks Engineer with RTCDP experience

Location : 100% remote

We are seeking a skilled Databricks Engineer to join our Marketing organization. In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines and tables that feed into Adobes RealTime Customer Data Platform (RTCDP). You will work closely with data architects and other data engineers in executing on their designs to ensure seamless data ingestion and transformation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Development: Build maintain and optimize scalable data pipelines to ingest and process data for Adobes RTCDP ensuring data is clean accurate and ready for analysis.
  • Collaboration with Architects: Work closely with data architects to understand pipeline designs and translate them into functional pipelines and tables.
  • Code Management: Utilize GitHub for version control ensuring all code is welldocumented reviewed and aligned with best practices.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Partner with other teams including data scientists and marketing analysts to ensure data is readily available and meets business requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong experience with Databricks.
    • Proficient in Scala or Python for data engineering tasks.
    • Advanced SQL skills for querying data transformation and table creation.
  • Version Control: Experience using GitHub for code management and collaboration.
  • ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues within pipelines.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and document processes effectively.
  • Experience with Marketing Data: Familiarity with marketing data sources and requirements is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobes RealTime Customer Data Platform (RTCDP).
  • Knowledge of ETL frameworks and best practices.
Prior experience in a marketing or datadriven organization
