Ensure the successful technical execution of projects and the professional implementation of solutions. The Field technical specialist acts as the primary technical point of contact on-site, coordinating all field activities and ensuring that project objectives, customer requirements, technical standards, and safety regulations are achieved. This role requires a strong field presence, frequent travel, and close collaboration with customers, project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
What will you do?
- Support the tendering and proposal preparation process, including technical assessments and site surveys.
- Develop and review technical solutions, specifications, and project documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards.
- Supervise and coordinate installation, commissioning, testing, and start‑up activities at customer sites.
- Manage on‑site activities by working closely with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
- Provide hands‑on technical support during commissioning and troubleshooting activities, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Monitor project execution in the field, ensuring adherence to schedule, quality, safety, and performance targets.
- Act as the primary technical interface with customers during site execution, translating customer needs into practical actions and solutions.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure alignment between on‑site activities and overall project objectives.
- Report project progress, identify risks and mitigation actions, and support effective project communication.
- Monitor site‑related costs and support budget control activities throughout project execution.
- Travel frequently across national locations to support project implementation and customer operations. xysqume
