Every day we impact the lives of millions by changing the way people see the world.ENVISION YOUR FUTURE JOBAs a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of sales forecasts for the new Models/SKUs launched by EssilorLuxottica every year, driving the production and stock distribution all around the world. In partnership with the product teams, through historical data analysis and applying statistical algorithms, the planner will refine the forecast as new data becomes available.ResponsibilitiesHistorical sales data analysis to improve forecastSales forecast reviews driven by sales order portfolioCoordination with Local Demand Planning Teams on data and processes validationReporting and monitoring tools to be developed and maintainedProcess redesign to gain efficiency and improve resultsPORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATEYou know you are a good fit for the role if:You do not see problems, you just see solutionsYou love challenges and take your responsibilities seriouslyYou are a team playerYou are an excellent performer with proven excellence in academic lifeYou have a degree in Economics, Statistics, or Management EngineeringYou are a quantitative analysis lover, a true Excel and Access addictExperience abroad is considered a plusExperience in Demand Planning, Sales Forecasting, or Supply Chain Analysis within a complex and fast-paced multinational environment (particularly within Fashion and FMCG industries) is considered a plusYou are fluent in English and ItalianWHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?In Luxottica, you have the feeling of being part of a “success story.” No matter where you work in the Luxottica world, you can really make an impact.Are you ready for this challenge?
