The company focuses on developing and delivering therapeutic solutions in areas of high unmet medical need, combining scientific excellence, digital innovation, and a strong commitment to improving patients' lives.About the Role For our office in Milan, we are looking for an Indirect Procurement Specialist responsible for category planning and sourcing execution for a group of indirect categories (e.g. ICT, consultancies, facility services.) including market scouting and vendor management, tender preparation and execution, order and contract management. This role contributes in maximizing value and quality perceived by the business together with fully adherence to procurement policy and procedures.ResponsibilitiesPerform spend analysis in order to find spend optimization opportunities (e.g. definition of framework agreement, pricelist, etc.)Execute category management for Dompé indirect spend categories under responsibilityMarket assessment, supplier scouting and onboarding, vendor managementTender preparation and execution, price benchmarking and negotiation activities, continuous improvement in terms of quality, service, and total cost of ownership in line with business requirementsSpot buy managementOrder creation and management, contract managementEnsuring compliance to all Dompé processes and proceduresCollaborate with procurement team to promote continuous process improvement, cross categories opportunities identificationCollaborate with key business stakeholders and other key functions (i.e. finance, legal) to streamline and optimize the full PTP processSupport Procurement strategic projects (e.g. process re‑engineering, procurement PTP systems optimization, supplier rationalization, tail spend reduction, etc.)QualificationsBachelor's / Master's degree in Management Engineering, Economy, Supply Chain, Project Management or related disciplinesExperience in similar role preferably in the Pharmaceutical / Life‑science industry or in ConsultancyRequired SkillsCompetences and knowledge of Procurement capabilities (e.g. sourcing management, vendor management, order management)Procurement experience in a global environmentIndirect category experience requiredKnowledge of SAP and best‑of‑breed e‑Procurement P2P toolsKnowledge of Office suite (e.g. Excel, Power Point, Outlook)Good communication skillsAbility to deal with change and resistanceAbility to negotiate contracts and establish vendor relationsFluent in Italian spoken and writtenFluent in English spoken and writtenPreferred SkillsResult orientedWork effectively in a team environmentAbility to work with people at all levelsAbility to prioritize work and deadlinesLearning agility#J-18808-Ljbffr
