Founded in Italy in 1961, Telespazio is based in Rome and counts more than 3000 employees through its various subsidiaries and joint ventures.Inside the Ground Segment and Systems Engineering Area in Rome, we are looking for a Software Tester Engineer passionate about our sectorJoin us as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in Space.Activities/ResponsibilitiesValidate digital platforms based on distributed cloud technologyExecute test procedures using the approved AIV plans and in agreement with the test campaignsSetup, configure and maintain test, reference and target platformsInstall and update COTS and application SWSupport the anomaly investigation in agreement with the Anomaly Management processPrepare script and/or program aiming to support SW deployment, Test Execution and Test Results collectionEnsure the quality of the delivered software itemsRequirements and User Stories AnalysisDefinition of the acceptance criteria and the verification strategyPrepare the test environment, test procedures and test reportsDetect the software defects and coordinate the bugs closure with the development teamsSet-up of the automated test proceduresQualifications/Experience:Master's Degree or equivalent from an institution of higher education in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or related fieldsAt least 2 years of experienceExperience in the area of complex Systems Verification Validation (VV) activities, including identification of necessary test data and tools, automated testing in support of system testing, software testing, unit testing, software debugging and profilingExperience in software verification activitiesGood knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, containers and related orchestration frameworks (e.g. Dockers, Kubernetes)Good knowledge of Virtual Environments (VMWare, esxi, vsphere, openstack, KVM)Knowledge of Agile/DevOps models and related testing approach (e.g. Jenkins)Knowledge of Cloud-based infrastructure and applications, microservices architecturesKnowledge of work management tools, e.g. Jira, ConfluenceKnowledge of CI/CD tools, e.g. Jenkins, GitLabKnowledge of software test tools and frameworks, e.g. Katalon, Postman, Testiny, PlaywrightKnowledge of Bash, PythonQualities:Strong written and oral communication skillsTeam player, open and keen to contributeConscientious, hard workerExecution effectiveness and continuityGood knowledge of English languageWhat We Offer:A stimulating and dynamic working environment with flexible working hoursHybrid working (onsite and off-site)Meal voucher, company canteen and employee welfare programsFree access to online learning platform with courses from top universitiesOpportunities for international experiencesWhy Telespazio: At Telespazio, the well-being, safety, and development of our people are at the heart of our corporate culture.
