  • Execute regional procurement strategies and localization initiatives across Europe.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers for energy storage components and systems.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, RFQs, pricing discussions, and contract execution.
  • Manage supplier performance, capacity planning, delivery schedules, and quality issues.
  • Support sourcing activities for key ESS components, including battery cells, PCS, BMS, thermal management systems, enclosures, electrical equipment, cables, and related components.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing movements, supplier risks, and supply chain developments.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant European regulations, certifications, and ESG requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, project delivery, finance, and legal teams.
  • Provide regular reporting on project status, supplier performance, risks, and market insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, International Trade, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of procurement experience within the energy storage, battery, renewable energy, power electronics, or wider energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of European supplier networks, sourcing strategies, and procurement processes.
  • Proven experience in supplier management, commercial negotiations, contract administration, and cost optimization.
  • Understanding of energy storage systems (ESS) and key components such as battery cells, PCS, BMS, thermal management systems, electrical components, and related equipment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with European regulatory requirements, CE compliance, ESG standards, and supply chain due diligence practices.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to conduct commercial negotiations and manage supplier relationships independently.
  • Mandarin language skills would be advantageous due to regular collaboration with international suppliers and global stakeholder teams.
  • Applicants with an existing right to work in Italy, Greece, or the UK may be particularly well positioned due to the company's operational footprint and business requirements.
  • Experience working in the Greek market or managing supplier relationships across Southern Europe would be advantageous. xysqume
